Thoughts: We are in a world of hurt, and our only hope is slowing the disaster. Sadly, that option seems farther out of reach.

A very large and underlying problem is the disintegration of major American media. There is no longer any pretense of honesty in reporting. The ease with which we can spin language for emotional loading is facilitated by the inability of Americans to read above a sixth-grade level.

Gaza War

The week’s statistics are below, but they now include something over 100 Palestinians killed while getting food aid. While the usual verbal gymnastics are on full display to make Israel the victim, it has been reported that the IDF opened fire on the people in the distribution lines. This included tanks opening fire, hence the large number killed and a reported 700 injured.
