In this corner, we have a proven incompetent, convicted felon with evolving dementia which is a front for America’s neofascist oligarchs, and in the opposite corner, an aging president and political spear-carrier well past his prime. The criminal who is being promoted by the most corrupt Supreme Court in the nation’s history is being ignored in preference to daily, even hourly, attacks on the aging president.

Neither of these people has any business running for president of imperial America in its late-stage collapse. They are both products of a failing system in a failing planetary civilization.

This is a battle between criminally corrupt and stupid and stupid. In America, we are comfortable with stupidity in our political system and tolerant of a reasonable level of corruption. But combined criminal corruption and vicious stupidity is too much, and that describes Trump and his manipulators.

As an honest crook, Biden spent forty years in Congress doing what he was told. But the days of honest crooks are over, and that does not mean viciously corrupt and stupid crooks are preferable.
