The Monday Lament: Whiners Are Not Leaders
America fooled around and is finding out
Historically, heroes have not been whiners, but we are in a defective age. Add senile periods of delusion, and we have Donald Trump’s second presidential term. After two months of growing insanity and silence from the majority in Congress, excluding screeching from the usual screechers, the path to oblivion is visible.
The worldwide market collapse began on April 2 with Trump’s befuddled launch of his tariff self-immolation. This Monday’s lament goes far beyond the problems of placing a mentally ill whiner in the seat of power. Trump peaked as an imitation business executive in reality TV, allowing him to play the role of a mob boss. The only role he knew.
Worsening senility has reduced his mental age to elementary school levels. He is now a fourth-grade bully with ultimate power and no one who can stop him from his endless list of threats and impulsive disasters.
Can he be removed in time to prevent total collapse?
New leadership is beginning to appear in the Democratic ranks of Congress, which the corporate media have vaguely acknowledged throughout the disintegrating American Empire. The dangers of the growing insanity are finally causing some media to abandon the dictated script.
