That depends on where you are in life. We have a long and ugly road ahead of us, but there are always good times to be had. The most difficult aspect of our lives now is that the nasty times will begin to crowd out the good times.

We are in a tough era of civilizational collapse when a plurality of the population can still claim that nothing is happening or that it is too far away to worry about. Those people are fast. In most cases, they refuse to think or talk about it, but they know it won’t get any better. It is best to ignore those people as much as possible.

When things hit their threshold, such people are a potential problem, as they may panic. That is the point when people in a crowd become a mob and act irrationally.

That is why we should not ignore reality. As noted above, reality depends on various factors, including age, family status, financial status, and location. We all must consider those factors and maintain situational awareness of our environments.

Situational awareness is a technical term that requires training. Most people are oblivious to what is going on around them. We must all learn to be professional security analysts to avoid the growing range of disasters we will face daily.
