I recently discovered the difference between problems and predicaments, which makes things more straightforward. Problems have solutions, while predicaments have only outcomes. We are dealing with a planetary set of predicaments.

. . . . A predicament has an outcome, not a solution or answer. Solutions and answers are reserved for PROBLEMS. Many people get these two mixed up and tend to see predicaments as problems. Wikipedia calls a predicament a “ wicked problem” but this doesn’t change the simple fact that predicaments or dilemmas do not have solutions. [Source: problems and predicaments]

All the anxiety and bullshit is the result of attempting to solve a predicament. If you shovel garbage all day, you still end up with garbage, except you are dirty and smell bad.

That is our world.

While the most significant cluster of our predicaments is climate-based, it has spread out (corrupted?) our social, political, and cultural systems. Admittedly, those in collapse anyway, but these things cannot be teased apart.

Today, I’m writing about one cluster in the American supercluster of predicaments. We are sick to death of Donald Trump, one of the most disgusting individuals in modern history. Yes, there are other, bigger…
