The Near Future
I’ve been thinking about post-Trump for some time as a thought experiment for fun. I’ve expanded some of that here since Trump’s first disappearance from office. He returned looking like a mortuary accident (thanks, JoJo from Jerz).
Suddenly, things have gotten real. The corporate media that completely ignored Trump’s disappearance are struggling to support the Trump clown car effort to lie their way back into control.
Yes, we have nothing but observations and insinuations on Trump’s physical condition, but his mental decline is well known. Of course, the occupants of the clown car have lied themselves to death on that, too. Wow, it seems death is everywhere, and we haven’t even gotten to Epstein’s files.
Trump, being grossly incompetent, set himself up by playing into his cult’s fascination with pedophiles during the 2024 campaign. He played that game with Epstein for years, but somehow thought he could ignore it if elected? Yes, he is that dumb.
Almost everyone remembers their mother, father, or grandparent explaining that lies come back to haunt you. Either you can’t keep your lies straight, or people figure out that they can trust nothing you say. Trump had the money and the coaching to keep things going for decades…
