Everyone has had so much fun at the Democratic National Convention that reality is being ignored. People around the planet were buoyed up by a unified counter to the neofascist sickness that has threatened to overwhelm us.

The results of this are apparent. It is a relief to have a positive approach presented politically that is not based on bigotry, hatred, ignorance, and the reactionary desire to reverse diversity and diversity’s enhancement of life.

We all know there are evil people and ordinary people who are made uncomfortable by social change. We have watched this for the last century and have been intensely aware of it over the previous sixty years. We need to distinguish between the two groups.

Evil people take advantage of social discomfort to peddle their hatred and delusion. Some of them have inherited or been given the resources to influence people prone to denial, subjugation, and oppression if given the opportunity. A quick history review makes that error obvious, but history can be easily distorted.

That problem is crippling us and resulted from many economic, social, and political mistakes that must be corrected while we can. That is the positive vibe that we are experiencing.
