Breakaway Tuesday: Don’t Wait Too Long
They can start the fight, but we can finish it
As an eighteenth-century nation-state that leveraged vast geographic wealth into a late 19th-century industrial fortune and then squandered it in a fit of capitalist folly culminating in 1929, but regained it and more in a massive war elsewhere, the USA is on the verge of its final collapse. To no one’s surprise, the people who stole, plundered, and, in the end, devastated a significant part of the planet’s wealth have insisted on claiming all the credit and none of the responsibility.
