America, We Have a Problem
It is far worse than you thought

America, we have a problem. Donald J. Trump is insane. I’m unsure how these words have been avoided over the last five days, but it is time to name the disaster. This is not new nor the only existential problem facing the nation, but this one can’t be hidden, whitewashed, or normalized.
Trump has been in office for two weeks, and the first week was a disaster, but so was the start of his first term. This is an entirely different situation now. The rest of the planet is outraged by the most powerful country (but not for long) being handed over to a senile, delusional wacko.
It was apparent to the majority of the population before the election. Remember, Trump was elected, questionably*, by only 32% of the eligible voters. I am not referring to the failures of the US government or electoral system, all parties involved, or the other candidate. Trump was not always rational, and the people made their choice, but not for this.
The corporate media has, as expected, fired everyone they had to fire who would not follow the official line of interpreting Trump’s wild imaginings as brilliant negotiating schemes. Since Trump’s wild rambling about removing the Palestinians from their homeland and shoving them into whatever countries he could remember the names of, things have…
